Rutgers is garbage.
NIU has four wins (Iowa, Ball State, Toledo, and EIU) better than any of Fresno's wins.
Fresno is the 2007 Hawaii team. They will get blasted in the BCS.

The person maintained this after someone else pointed out there was a three hour gap between games, and the MWC doesn't start until 7 PM pacific time. haha
Dinner and drinks for 3 hours?

That's one reason the voters want to see them in over NIU. With actual experience playing in a BCS bowl game, NIU knows what it takes to come away with a win. Fresno is fool's gold.
The voters are not happy with the new playoff. It takes them out of the equation.

They will look at Fresno's big offensive output yesterday, overvalue it, and move them further ahead of NIU, whose win is old news and was not as newsworthy to the average voter as what Fresno's QB did yesterday. The argument is not in the details. It's about broad impressions.

That's why even though NIU gets on national TV on Wednesday it still hurts us come Sunday because we are an afterthought after all of Saturday's games.
