Its the last year of this scheduling format. We'll go back to a single round robin next year when App and GSU join up.

It is a huge advantage. ASU may get more wins out of our 6 games with UALR, but we get nothing in RPI.

I expect us to compete again. But I think we will see a drop off in talent from Troy... Still top 3 potential.

More chances for on the field extra curricular activities to happen. This rivalry may be heating up, it just happens to be on the diamond instead of the gridiron.

It very much is heating up... I will for sure make my way down to Mobile in march. Can't wait!

Maybe. I fully believe this ASU team is capable of it though. We've got two of the Big three at home, play UALR twice, and play a very favorable nonconference schedule that should give us a lot of chances at confidence building wins.

Maybe. I fully believe this ASU team is capable of it though. We've got two of the Big three at home, play UALR twice, and play a very favorable nonconference schedule that should give us a lot of chances at confidence building wins.

Our pitching will be better than last year... Our #1 pitcher Shane McCain returns.... Bats might not be as big tho. But still very punishing. We had a good recruiting class too.

While we lost our top pitcher, we return a lot. This is supposed to be the deepest pitching staff we have ever had. Offensively, We've got two of our top hitters back from injuries, and have brought I a couple signees who are supposed to be day 1 starters. If we can avoid the injury bug, this could be a very good year.

TXST and UTA kept the SLC in the top 8-10 for years (at least until OOC play was mostly over) and pulled the WAC's up last year. Don't count us out on making noise or playing spoilers; at least until we get our feet wet in the SBC.

We may not have gotten far in the NCAA's but I think that will change now. (due to better recruits, even if we haven't done too bad lately)
