Honestly I thought WKU would win this in a cakewalk.

Yeah. Stupid players being happy and excited about their hard fought win.

**** them.

Why do you care? See post #31 of this thread.

Your point?

Someone's a little slow. Why do you care about anything WKU is doing when in your previous post (#31) you clearly showed that you had no desire to even watch a game that was 1) winnable and you actually ended up winning 2) made your team bowl eligible for the 3rd straight year?
You, as a "fan", gave up on your team, so why do you feel the need to come to their defense? Why don't you leave the smartass retorts to those in your fanbase who actually care about their team.

I didn't give up on the team. I simply expect them to perform poorly. And that is a completely justified expectation based on how Western has performed all season long. I still cheer for them and I still keep up with the team via ESPN. But I've been burned way too many times this season watching them play.

RE: WKU vs Army Thread
Fans of little faith!

I don't know what the temperature was at game time but when you add in the wind it felt like it was freezing and the whipping wind played a part in Western's slow play...along with it being cold. If you never been to Army their stadium is about half way up a mountain....around 400 feet above sea level.

Great Army crowd (really good WKU turn out...seem like 300-400) with it being Sr and Military Appreciation day a lot of vets and kids and on that last drive it got loud in the stadium. Three hours before the game the first gate going into West Point had a 3 mile line of cars the second gate maybe a mile (donor gate) and the 3rd gate maybe 2 miles long.

This picture was took about 1 mile away and at a elevation of 1600 overlooking part of West Point with the football stadium marked in black and parking in red. The picture doesn't give a good view of how high up their stadium really is. If you are a Western fan or been to a Western home game...it's about like going up the hill at Western 3 or 4 times then walking down it once and that would be where Michie Stadium sit.
