I didn't realize it was into the wind. Based on th defense, McGee probably made the right call.

As a symptom of our poor defense, we have given up several TDs this season right before half or right before the end of the game. The same script keeps playing over and over again.

We should have realized from the last game that when we went to a 3 man front, the opponent ran for HUGE gains. Same thing this week,, Marshall is killing that defensive formation.

Just sad. Our DBS/LBs 5 on 1 can't cover and prevent a completion.

The defense is just plain putrid. There's no excuse for being this terrible game in and game out.

The level of incompetence on defense remains shocking. I don't see one bit of improvement. If the time of possession was anywhere near even we might be down 50 points going into the half. Is this the worst UAB defense ever? Possibly even the worst UAB team ever (relative to its level of competition)?

I miss Watson.

If facilities are the problem now, how did we recruit the likes of Bryan Thomas, Rodney Hudson, Dainon Sidney, Rodregiuz Brooks, and the many others that were great players? Was the Jimbo Fisher fiasco really the turning point of a downward spiral that has become UAB Football? We've played competitive games with Auburn, Maryland, LSU, Georgia, Miss State, FSU, Va Tech. What has happened in the past ten years?

Well, at least this Marshall TD drive took more than two minutes (2:17).

UAB should be allowed to have 15 players on defense, to make the games more competitive.

The good news: It was their longest drive of the game.
