These uniforms were worn before the revival of the Georgia Southern football program. The original football program was suspended after 1941 and was revived in 1981 under legendary coach Erk Russell.

With Georgia Sothern's injury issues, I wouldn't be surprised if they were not recruiting the manikin to start on offense.

We have actually already filed it with the NCAA. I've heard the mannequin has some friends on the soccer team that we may try to get too...

That article sure doesn't like your current uniforms. I like the throwbacks, but not more than current uniforms.

I like the throwbacks. Though since you never change uniforms I figured y'all always wear throwbacks.

I expect we will have Delaware/Michigan style helmets to match, I think it's kinda cool.

Some throwbacks are freakish, some are ok. These are actually pretty cool.

I like 'em. Can't wait to see what we do with the helmets.

He looks as blind as the ones we have now so you might be on to something there.

Are those Cod pieces on those uniforms?

The purpose in wearing throwbacks isn't to look nice. However, I happen to like these more so than other throwbacks I've seen.

The helmet is not a UD/Michigan style helmet. It's tan to look like a leather helmet and says "Teachers" across the front, as Southern was Georgia Teacher's College before it became GSC.

The uniform looks 10x on someone than it does on the dummy.

Personally, I think they look sick and can't wait to see the team in them this Saturday.

This is actually a picture of my wife's grandmothers yearbook back from 1935. It's hard to tell what it is in person, let alone a picture of a picture... my best guess is that it was some sort of reinforced fabric on the edges... either way, it looks terrible.

I thought GaSo always wore classic throwbacks! All kidding aside those look better than most of the throwbacks I've seen recently. Manny Kinn looks like an A back to me.
