Louisville, Ky- Over 200 prospects from over 20 states took part in the Scout.Com All-American Combine on Saturday.

West Virgina commitment Charlie Russell of Morgantown (W.Va.) looked very impressive all day. He was very accurate and showed excellent arm strength and poise.

Another West Virginia commit Vic Anderson stood out amongst the running backs. The St. Xavier (Ky.) star ran a 4.47 forty-yard dash and showed tremendous hands and explosion.

Losing Minnifield kinda hurt today, but with him I have the feeling he could be like Aundre Henderson. It is a long way until signing day.

I'm not worried about Minnifield at all. Maize you know good and well his dad will be in his ear. If Derek Smith was still here with us no way Nolan would be signing with Duke. You are right, it did sting a little, but you can't knock a kid for a taking a free ride to a school like UVA. Groh can recruit his tail off and they do send alot of guys to the NFL. I still think he's UofL's to lose and I agree with comparing his situation to Aundre Henderson. We've been down this road before and I know the UofL staff will still continue to recruit him. Thats the good thing about these kids committing so early, and UVA still has to continue to recruit him. I just found out that Michigan State and Michigan both offered, so you know schools won't stop recruiting. Petrino just needs to be like Tubby Smith and continue to recruit guys after they committed somewhere else.
