Board Slowness, Search Issue, & Debug Issue Advisory
This message was given to me earlier by GTS and we wanted to make you all aware:

Quote:You may notice the site is slower than usual, especially at late hours. We are doing extensive database repair in the hopes of fixing the dreaded "slanted quotes / MS Word" debug errors that occur in certain posts. This will also allow for searching of posts from the Invision era. It will also take a long... LONG... LONGGGGGGGG time. If the board becomes so slow as to be unusable; we will pause the process and resume during early AM hours.

Basically folks, this process should not only correct this debug issue with certain quotations (particularly apostrophes) but SHOULD also correct the "Search" problem that has happened since the switch to our current software. Many of you know if you try to search posts that it won't search for anything prior to December 2005. This SHOULD correct the problem.

We just wanted to give you a heads up on this.
