I'm still miffed that the SBC screwed up WKU's TV deal with Fox to be on ESPN3 a few times.

It wasn't ESPN3, it was Fox's unwillingness to broadcast the game only in Kentucky and surrounding states.

Exactly, WKU had to give up a TV deal that put every single one of their games on a nationally broadcasted TV station, because the SBC had to have this "deal" with ESPN. I understand the reasoning. The deal helped the rest of the conference, but was a monumentally worse deal for WKU. We were one of only a handful of teams in the country that had every game on TV. I wish there was a way for us to opt out of the conference deal and keep our own. Oh well.
