Louisiana-Monroe 2-1 4-4
Texas State 2-2 5-3
Arkansas State 1-1 3-4
South Alabama 1-2 3-4
Western Kentucky 1-3 4-4
x - Georgia State 0-3 0-7

Mine are.

1) UL....cant argue with 3-0

2) TROY...Big road win last Saturday, headed in the right direction 3-1

3) ULM...Browning is back and looked good against GSU in the blowout and they are only a one loss team in the conference

4) Arkansas State...Hard to gage them but I think they could still be top 3

5) WKU....Too many turnovers.

6) USA....They are going to sneak up and beat someone they shouldn't before its over with

7) Texas State....Pretty much the same with USA

8) Ga State...Obviously 8th

I really can't do this as far as overall ranking. The Fun Belt is just too crazy. But I'll base it on momentum.

1) UL - dominating
2) Troy - getting it together
3) TXST - plugging along
4) USA - still hanging in there
5) ULM - good chance to make a jump up
6) stAte - reeling, but still has some opportunities
7) WKU - embarassed, still dangerous in any given game
8) GaState - looking for any positive

This is why people don't respect you, or your fans. If you pay attention, 99.9% of the time, I say Louisiana, because it sounds better. I will go and change it, but understand that all you're doing is creating more problems.

It's sort of nice to have a reputation to fall back on to give you a perception boost, no matter how short-lived it may be.

1)Louisiana - On a roll and can't be stopped. No discernible weakness. Power run game, a good outside threat with robinson, great O-line, good QB and Defense is starting to play up to the bar that the Offense has set.

2)Troy - Opportunistic team right now, finally having some good luck go their way after having some bad luck hit them the past few years.

3)stAte - I know they looked awful last week, but the cajuns are doing that to pretty much everyone these days. Until they get their second conference loss, I refuse to believe they are anything worse than a top 3 team in the conference.

4)ULM - Browning back, looked good last week, but it was against Ga State. They can move higher up this list if they turn in a big effort against Troy.

5)Tx State - Solid pieces here with a young QB, good run game, and great front 7. Still, the weaknesses are glaring and if an opposing team has the personnel to match up with it, they struggle.

6)USA - Just last week they were the hot thing, but have since fallen after getting beat badly by Tx State. Very Jekyll and Hyde. They will win some games they should lose, and lose some games they should win. It's still a process for this team to learn how to handle this level of football on a weekly basis.

7)WKU - Square peg, meet round hole. Petrino is determined to have his passing philosophy take hold at WKU. When it works, it's great, but he doesn't have the pieces on offense for a passing offense. He should be running the ball more and running short passes, but he is insanely hard headed (I mean, the guy didn't die in that motorcycle accident, should tell you how hard his head is) and that is the downfall of this team. Talent to be top 3, but worst coaching in the conference right now, which is shocking coming from such a big name coach.

8) Georgia State - Multiple bad losses, looking more lively in the past month, but still have a very long way to go to not be the worst team in the conference

The way SBC games play out can mean these rankings can change in just one weekend but for now at least.
1. Louisiana (aka.ULL) - look to be the best team at the moment at least but have a bad loss to Arkansas on their resume.
2. ASU - only played 2 league games so far and lost to the best team so deserve second for right now, bad loss Memphis.
3. ULM -only one league loss and have Browning back, bad loss WKU.
4. Troy - second in the standings but have beat the 3 worst teams in the league by a combined 14 pts. Best win over UAB? ouch.
5. USA - wins over Kent, Tulane, & played UT close would bump ahead of Troy but bad loses to USU(FCS) & Texas St hurt.
6. Texas State - could be higher with win over Wyoming but struggled against everyone else.
7. WKU - lead the league in offense and defense & have wins over Navy & UK but second half collapses & turnovers are killing them.
8. Georgia State - no wins & 3 loses to FCS teams will keep you at the very bottom but showed signs of live against Troy & Texas State.

UAB was not our best win. Probably our worst or 2nd to worst...

Uab was crushed 52-31 by UTSA last night and it wasn't even that close.

Your right I did... I was wrong... I still say they played their best game against us... It's a rivalry game. Anything could happen. They also had wins over us in our 5year run.

I also feel as though Troy has gotten better.

Hence, the reason I suffixed my statement with it being the last win. If we beat ULM, I'll say the same thing.
