Savor the win, it was a big one.

Now, stAte, WKU, and Troy coming up. The first one and the last one on the road.04-jawdrop

Thanks. This has been fun so far. I like how other SBC fans support the rest of the conference.

Both those teams tonight were class acts. Welcome to the SBC. There's a lot more to it than those "prestigious" universities would have you believe.03-lmfao

I'm really hoping for at least a 2-2 split on this run. Who will those wins be against? I haven't got a clue. But I'm hoping.

7-5 would be a good run for us this season.

Just looking at current conference, you should be able to beat WKU at your place. They're definitely "spent" now.

Both stAte and Troy on the road are going to be really really tough as both are in the big middle of a fight for a bowl spot.

I wholly agree, and it's a shame because the game I REALLY want to win that's left on our schedule is Troy.

I was a fan of their's before we started playing in the Sun Belt, so to beat the team you were a fan of, well... that's what you gotta do!

Troy is another dangerous team, much in the mold of USA. They never give up either. I have a lot of respect for them and would not be shocked if they come in to Cajun field an kock-off an overconfident Cajun team.

Texas State's defense line will make our Offensive line look like weaklings (Which we are)

They're improving, no doubt about it. And they've got lots of raw talent. But to put it all together and knock you guys off at home, man, that'll be a tough one.

And one team we're not noticing too much is ULM. Browing is back and so are they.

I'm pretty sure that would put you guys in a bowl. Congrats on a thrilling game and win.

I haven't forgotten them. ULM and Troy will be our biggest challenges but we have the advantage of playing them at home. I'm not concerned one bit about USA.

I'd love nothing more than to see TxState go to a bowl their first year in the SBC, but what bowl would it be? I don't know if there'll be enough slots this year and with teams like the Cajuns, stAte, Troy, and perhaps ULM at the top of the heap at the end of the year, seems to make it all the more difficult.

I'm open to hearing some ideas though.

I definitely see Troy as the Cajuns' biggest risk at the moment.

If Texas State was to win out and finish 9-3 they would get the Go Daddy spot. If they finish 8-4 they would stand a good shot depending on how ASU, Troy, and USA finished.

I do not think the Go Daddy bowl would pass up an 8 or 9 win team to take a flyer on a 6 win Troy or USA.

When was the last time ULM beat us? I want to say their seniors have never beat the Cajuns. They will be ready to rock when they come down.

Well, yeah, but what are the odds? They've struggled to win at home and have two huge road games ahead, stAte and Troy. A 9-3 finish would be close to a miracle and yes, they'd deserve a bowl IMHO. Short of that, I think the numbers are against them.

The only reason I'm more worried about Troy is because their game is closer. Once that one's past, I'll crank it up with ULM.03-lmfao
