If anything, I'm voting against that reprobate!

Ask yourself which is worse, someone who stands up for what he believes in (even if you don't always agree) or someone that would sell out his own wife and kid to make a quick buck for the party? If he'll sell out his own wife and kid, he'll definitely not think twice about selling out the Commonwealth.

Ken Cuccinelli regarding climate change: "Carbon Monoxide is dangerous, Carbon Dioxide is good. We readily drink it in our soft drinks. And we exhale it, and trees feed on it to produce oxygen for us. Now climate scientists are telling us this important part of the life cycle is a dangerous pollutant"

I asked myself. Standing up for what you believe in, when you are a moron....much worse when you are running to be the governor of a state.

People are gonna go off on me, but you know it's true. Democrats cheat on their wives...they do. But they are much, much smarter than TODAY'S republicans. Today's republicans (mostly tea part) are stupid to the extent of being completely dangerous. I just can't vote for willing stupidity.

I never heard of Cuccinelli making that statement, you got a link or something? McAuliffe thinks humans burning stuff for a mere 200 years is causing permanent damage to a planet that's been around over 4.5 billion years and has been through at least 5 ice ages, but *he's* the smart one? No amount of government regulation or tax collecting will stop the earth from tilting on an axis, stop the moon from drifting away from the earth, or prevent the planet from entering another ice age, which is due in about 80,000 more years so live it up!

Yeah this is the saddest part. It's not that they haven't heard of climate change...it's just that they deny it because fox news told them to. It's not just that scientific issue, we could go round and round all day on stem cells, healthcare, the economic collapse of 2008, etc. Tea party members know these issues, they just deny the facts of these issues because it's inconvenient. Tea party identifiers are sheep. They are overwhelmingly racist middle class white people who blame this country's problems on minorities (and poor people). I have no beef with traditional republicans...but if you identify with the tea party, God help you.

Well I relate with a lot of what the tea party says...so I guess I am all the awful things you said above...

Can we all not disagree without calling each other sheep, racists, haters of the poor etc?

If the left would stop calling the right racist elitists and if the right would stop calling the left tyrannical socialists maybe...just maybe...things could be solved in Washington instead a lot of finger pointing.

You see jmu@uva...the problem is not different political ideologies...the problem is people like you that resort to name calling instead of working together to come to a common solution that betters everyone.

I don't know...I think maybe this political thread is more civil than the FCS v. FBS threads.

Pretty crazy that there are probably at least a few students out there who will have seen both Obama and Clinton speak at JMU while they attended.

JMU@UVA,

Cent was right. You lost all credibility with your statement about Chelsea being attractive. Doughy white cankles are not my idea of attractive, just sayin. Besides "getting with" her was fairly easy if you were at Stanford when she was there. That is if you wanted to... I guess she at least picked that behavior up from her Pops.

I got to shake Clinton's hand one time. He was on Reddish Knob to present info about the Roadless Rule when he was President (saving roadless areas in the national forests). As a tree hugger, I was invited to be in the audience. One of the coolest things as we were waiting for him to arrive was we were looking out over the mountain when a black helicopter suddenly rose up. That was cool. Just quickly appeared.

That's not what he said........he said some of the freshman were 5 when he left office.

Willy left office about 12 years, 9 months ago (Jan 01'). Most of the freshmen would have been 6 yrs old on that date. Most current JMU undergrads would have been 6-9 on that date..

Most freshmen were five...i'm sure there are a handful of older undergrads who were pushing middle school though.

Most freshmen are 18 now, which means most would have been 6 when he left office Jan 01'...

Just saying...

Just saying....

And liberals are all pinko communists who hate America and white males...one moronic statement after another....see how fun this is?

Cent was right. You lost all credibility with your statement about Chelsea being attractive. Doughy white cankles are not my idea of attractive, just sayin. Besides "getting with" her was fairly easy if you were at Stanford when she was there. That is if you wanted to... I guess she at least picked that behavior up from her Pops.

The thing is he said "Chelsea is hot" and "she's not as hot as her mom, but she's a good mix of Hillary's looks"

So he thinks this is hot:04-jawdrop01-wingedeagle

JFC, Hildabeast fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. No wonder Willy was cheating on her all those years....

No we cannot agree. If you identify with the tea party (not the few level headed republicans left), you are a sheep that helps to perpetuate racism and the ever growing assault on poor people. Real patriots in this country fight for a better minimum wage, health care for its citizens, stem cell research, marriage equality, and solutions for world-wide problems like climate change. And no, not only the left fight for these things, regardless of how brain washed you seem to be.

It's America, you have the right to be a selfish, racist, poor-hating fear monger if you wish. It's a free country. It does, however, make you a large contributor the nation's problems, not its solutions.

This is not a conservative vs. liberal issue. But black and white is clearly how you choose to see the world. It's your right as an American not to give a crap about anyone but yourself. But the tea party is simply a backlash of a dying breed that can't come to grips with a black president, homosexual people receiving the same rights as everyone, or women telling men what to do, etc. You want to stick up for that, go right ahead. People can pile on all they want. Just makes me pity you all even more.
