RE: Basketball kickoff!
Smack or not. Whats going on. Georgia State looks really good on paper this year. Football not having a big following i can understand, but your basketball should be picking up the slack. I think like most people, i expect/hope Georgia State to become a stable solid basketball program, being in the center of a great recruiting area, with alot of basketball history.

Like what seems to be small minority in the Sun Belt, i am a basketball fan first. I hope to see Texas State step up with Danny Kaspar as coach, and help raise the conference profile.

Does anyone care about athletics at all at Georgia State? Even during your 22 win season, you guys weren't filling the arena at end of season.

Thank GOD someone has finally had the good sense to turn this into a smack thread.

Just stating the facts. From everything I read from GSU fans I thought there would be more of you. Is it really greatness if no one sees it?

No, that looks about right. It's what it is. CRH has brought the attendance back up but we will always have a long way to go. Either way, Go Panthers!

From everything I read Kaspar will be an excellent coach at Texas State. The coach in Mobile has a great pedigree, coaches at Ga St and UTA appear very strong. Now its up to supporters as to which program reaches the greatest heights! Best to all except when facing the Hilltoppers!
