RE: UPSET ALERT WEEK 8
when Florida State beat Northern Illinois by 21pts in the 2012 Orange Bowl several people like Herbstreit said that it was proof that NIU (and AQs in general) didn't belong in BCS Bowls.

Now Florida State has beaten Clemson by 37 points, and Clemson lost the 2011 Orange bowl by 37 points too, so does this mean that Clemson doesn't deserve to be in BCS bowls either? What about the ACC, should they be kicked out?

I'm new to this idea of using 1 game to make sweeping conclusions about a team or conference, or group of conferences, and want to get it right. Should Clemson give up football all together?

I approve. Think they'd go for it?

1. Miami @ North Carolina
2. Central Florida @ Lousiville
3. Texas Tech @ West Virginia
4. Wisconsin @ Illinois
5. LSU @ Ole Miss

other possibilities

South Carolina @ Tennessee
Georgia @ Vanderbilt
Auburn @ Texas A&M

Iowa State @ Baylor
Iowa @ Ohio State

I can see at least 3 or 4 of these 10 games being upsets. College Football will only get wilder from here on out.

5 out of 10.

Impressive. Couldve easily been 6 7 or 8.
