Remaining Undefeated, Winless, and 1 loss teams (after week 7)
Teams with 1st loss week 7:
Oklahoma
Michigan
Stanford

Teams with 1st win week 7:
Massachusetts

Teams with 2nd loss week: 7:
Rutgers
Arizona
Georgia
Pitt
Navy
Ohio U.
Florida
Northwestern
East Carolina
Washington
Bowling Green

Percent of Last Week's Undefeated Teams with 1st loss:
Week 1: 41.13% (51 of 124)
Week 2: 31.51% (23 of 73)
Week 3: 30% (15 of 50)
Week 4: 17.14% (6 of 35)
Week 5: 31.03% (9 of 29)
Week 6: 15% (3 of 20)
Week 7: 17.65% (3 of 17)

Week 7 Thoughts: Fun week. We lost 3 more undefeateds. Stanford seemed to be a legitimate national title contender. Their lose to Utah though leaves Oregon and UCLA in the PAC-12 as undefeated representatives. Oklahoma also excused themselves from the national title race with a big loss to a Texas team who has struggled in most their games (even with several wins). In the Big Ten, no one was taking this Michigan team seriously as a national title contender, but the 4 overtime loss to Penn State complicates things further for Ohio State, who likely will not play another ranked team until the Big Ten title game (should they make it).

Undefeated Missouri beating Georgia was another huge deal for the weekend. For the first time in the season, the SEC newbie is getting serious attention within the conference and remains the only team besides Alabama undefeated in the conference. They will have to do without their starting quarterback going forward though.

On Thursday, Louisville beat Rutgers. This removed one of the largest hurdles left for the Cardinals to an undefeated season.

With the losses of East Carolina and Navy, there are no more independents or Conference USA teams that are either undefeated or with only 1 loss.

In the battle of winless teams, UMass beat Miami (OH), to take their first win.

Week 8 Thoughts: There is one game between undefeated teams next week and it is a big one for the ACC. #3 Clemson hosts #5 Florida State. The winner will be the big favorite to win their division in the ACC and be the conference's highlight team in the national title race (with Miami (FL) there as well).

There are no games between winless teams.

There are three games where both teams are either undefeated or with only 1 loss. Biggest is probably is #9 undefeated Stanford at #13 one loss Stanford. On Friday, 1 loss Central Florida plays at undefeated #8 Louisville. We also have #24 Auburn at #7 Texas A&M in a game between 1 loss teams.

Other games of note: Winless Miami (OH) hosts 1-6 Akron in possibly their best chance for a win left. 3-2 BYU plays at undefeated Houston. If Houston wins that game, they'll probably join every other undefeated left as being ranked.
