undefeated back to back champs.
and sandbagging.
the shame.
It's not sand bagging. We really don't look great. The last two year you could tell there was a spark and we were going to win. I think a lot of us simply don't feel we win the conference outright this year. If we play next Tuesday like we did tonight we will lose.

I wonder if it had anything to do with Harsin coaching at Boise. Idaho fans made it very clear this week that anyone who spent time at Boise was the devil as far as they were concerned.
Petrino has never played, and likely never will play BJC. I don't think it's anything personal, his last few handshakes have been less than sportsmanlike so it may be he was told to avoid them entirely.

Then why did he shake our DC's hand? If he can't shake an opposing coaches hand after a loss then he doesn't need to be a coach.

I don't know what the deal is and I didn't see it. I'm not a fan of his post game behavior but there are much bigger problems to worry about. I doubt he went out of his way to flip off Harsin, shake hands with the DC and kick a bag of puppies before setting fire to an orphanage, but he's done dumber things before.

Well it happened. I was running replay camera for our video board. So if anyone saw it I did.

It is amazing. If we don't score on every play and complete every pass you would think we had a bad game. Put up 353 yds in the first half and 24 points and you would have thought we trailed by 3 TDs the way some acted.

Also, the cheap shots on our QB, including some to the head, should have drawn some penalties.

I'll take it. I'm not a fan of extrapolating after only one game, but this is a very encouraging sign for Idaho's future in the SBC.
We were picked third by the coaches.

When you handoff the rules say you are a blocker and legal to hit, even if you are 10 yards from the play just watching the action.

Based on the money I lost when he was the "genius" offensive coordinator for Illinois, I think it is entirely possible he thought John Thompson was the head coach and was lucky to have not run to the wrong end zone.

Speaking of penalties . . . the Red Wolves had to overcome a lot of iffy yellow.

Which one was iffy. O-Line was a mess.

Frankie Jackson started his tackle a full yard in bounds.
I've watched a ton of college games and can't remember two ineligible receiver down field in the same game, not to mention on the same team. Calls might have been correct, but I'd bet that one gets overlooked a lot.

I wasn't sure about that one but it was in front of me so I couldn't see the boundary.

Only a sophomore. Two more years of McKissic for ASU. During that time I expect he will break every receiving record we have. He's already broken several of them.
