Toledo hosts NCAA first rounds for women
Savage Arena was selected as a first round site for the women's NCAA hoops tournament in 2014. The only mid-major site selected. Says a lot about MAC women's programs in these parts after BG was selected in 2012. I know many of you are surprised this honor didn't go to OU, but I'm pretty certain they are three recruits and 193 season tickets away from leaving us in the dust and scoring the Final Four for 2015. 03-wink

PLEASE don't throw us all in because of 2 obnoxious posters!! I like reading this site, but the animosity caused by these 2 individuals is getting pretty bad and this site is getting pretty toxic for Ohio fans to be a part of. I know it's hard, but please just ignore them. They don't speak for us!! (I do know this was just a joke BTW)

Congrats to Toledo!

Y-CityCatfan: Can't speak for the others that are annoyed by the Kitton and others but most of the time I think it's pretty funny as was H2O's jest above........Kitton occasionally hits my "hot buttons" with ridiculous claims and criticisms of other MAC schools (like mine!), but most of the time I just laugh it off and many of the replies are even funnier.

I recently matched Ycity's statement under another thread but it's hard to resist good straight lines. You guys are great and we all know there's a diverse group of OU fans, as there is for every school.

Think it really says a lot about the respect for Toledo and there run for the past few years. Have to think the pg is gone now, how is the team looking?

Congrats Rockets! It looks good for the MAC that your program can host a big game like this, it also reflects well on your passionate fan base.

Big rebuild. Naama will be missed but we had two big time defenders graduate with her. We'll be fine at the point but doubt we'll be holding teams to 15 points in a half very often. We'll be behind CMU and a couple other teams gor sure.

CMU is the team to beat. Inma is a similar athlete to Bradford though. PG from Spain and F from England that are projected to compete right away. Word on the street says one of em may be better than Naama. We will see. Toledo scheduled tougher this season, and will have a better resume if they don't win the MAC. 27-3 isn't always good enough ya know? 03-banghead
