I think him coming back this year and being at 100% at any point isn't likely. Next year? Yeah, with an entire offseason, I think he could be the same player he was.
It's difficult with the injuries, though. KHJ hurt his ankle last year and missed the second half of the season. You're one injury away from having Spenser as your only RB. Ideally, I would RS him and hopefully he wants to come back with his 5th year, but there's a lot of factors here.

Yeah, 'ideally' is the key word. Who knows if he'd even want to go that route? If he has no interest in coming back, then you do whatever it takes to get him on the field this season. If he has interest and the team has the ability (on multiple levels) to go that route, it's a different decision.
