A poster over on our message board said this. If true then we have to schedule some FBS at home in 2015.

Or can 1 of the 5 home games be vs. a FCS?

2015 you'll have 4 conference games at home so that leaves just getting 1 other FBS home game OOC.

So we must schedule an OCC FBS game at home then other than the 4 conference games?

Don't know that it's a requirement because I didn't check but I doubt it will be a problem.

You can count one high scholarship FCS toward the requirement.

Thanks. We are being told here at GSU by our AD that it may be 2016 before we get a FBS non-conference game at home. As far as I know in 2015 we play the 4 SBC home games plus Citadel and 7 road games -- 4 SBC, 2 money games and hopefully the first of a home/home FBS on the road.

Going to miss seeing those cadets march in down in Charleston. Always enjoyed the firing of the cannon and their band also.
Most people will not care that much, but Charleston always was a good place to go for an away game. Good eats and bars.
Wished we could still play them in Charleston occasionally.

I know the bigger conferences have requirements that don't allow their members to play away games at FCS schools. I would think the SBC has the same requirement.

My hope is App signs a home and home with a G5 program where we are away in 2014 and get them at home 2015.

That may mean we have two FCS home games in 2014 in order to get 6 home games.

Getting 6 home games is very important to us and if we continue to draw north of 25k it makes fiscal sense.
