(NMR) ESPN Announcers Deplorable during Iowa St-Texas game
I tuned into the game about midway through the 4th quarter. For about 15 minutes the only thing the Three Stooges of announcers talked about was the "plight" of the Texas Longhorns. Totally ignored several series of plays out on the field. I was incensed as a casual fan of this particular game. I can only imagine how the Iowa State viewers felt.

I like the part at the end where they were going on and on about how Texas, a member of the Big XII, should NEVER lose to Iowa State, also a member of the Big XII.

its the ongoing narrative that for certain, select programs winning is a birth right that should never be denied.

They are all horrendous, all 3 of them , no doubt. But Pollack should not be behind the microphone, that has to be an insult not only to fans but to anyone who has ever been a professional broadcaster.

Adding insult to this all was the questionable calls down the stretch. Almost seemed like the 1972 Olympics Gold Medal basketball game; Texas was going to get every opportunity to pull that one out.

Well, ESPN and Texas have an agreement. It's not right, but it is what it is.....
