Sooners Look Good
I'm really liking our offense. We still have some work to do on defense and special teams.

We look good with Bell ( never thought I'd say that). Knight needs to grow considerably by next year, IMO.

Knight impressed me today with the few plays he was in the game. I see knight as a run only QB that we can rotate to give Bell a breather. You have to admit Knight has some legs.

How badly was Bell hurt? Will he be able to go next week?

It was just cramps from poor hydration.

Fortunately, the hot weather is about over. So those kinds of injuries should be a thing of the past shortly...

Knight definitely has legs, but a one dimensional offense will be easy to defend. He just needs to grow A LOT before Bell graduates. Not sure where Thompson is in the mix anymore

I don't think you are giving our offense enough credit. We are far from one dimensional. Bell continues to improve the passing game. His rushing abilities were solidified on Saturday. All in all we are improving at a nice pace.

There are those who are comparing it to 2000 speed.

It was hotter up there than down here on Sat. Fall is fast approaching.

I hope that was an isolated issue with him and he hydrates before our game against Baylor and OSU in Stillwater. We are going to need him.

Think you are misunderstanding my point. I have no concerns with Bell. I think he has progressed very well. I think OU's offense looks the best it has in 3-4 years. Much more physical, and time-consuming. We're Dominating the line of scrimmage and skilled positions are consistent. Defense looks good too. Very happy with this year's team.

I'm referring to what is left on the plate after Bell graduates. Not sure Knight is the "every down" quarterback. Thompson seems like the future of the team. That's my long term concern, unless Bell gets injured and it becomes a short term problem.

BOOMER!!!

OIC. Well, I understand the concern. However, I was impressed with Knight in the few plays he ran on Saturday. Hopefully the kid will continue to improve.

SOONER!!!
