Even if the ball was moving forward, wouldn't it be considered a lateral and a live ball? It looks like it went backwards.

If the ball is moving forward, then it's an incomplete pass. But I didn't see enough evidence of that, and neither did the refs. Of course my opinion and $12 gets you a small coffee at Starbucks
