RE: Say a prayer...
Maybe their search committee won't review the message boards for their applicants' current schools as part of their due diligence.

Our board administrator has moved all this to the private board and it has been discussed at length. They won't have access to this, however.

He can't hide it all. This stuff has been here for the past several years, and has been getting more and more negative in the last few months, as far as Peterson is concerned anyway.

Anyone know what happened to Mike Hamrick? I thought he was the AD at UNLV. Apparently he has been gone from there for some time.

Mike Hamrick went from being the AD at UALR to take the AD position at East Carolina. Then he went on to be the AD at UNLV. About three years ago Mike returned to his Alma Mater- the Marshall Thundering Herd- as AD. That is where he is today. Also, Mike grew up in West Virginia.

Of all the guys who have come and gone in the UALR program over the last thirty years, coaches or ADs, Mike Hamrick has had by far the most success going forward from here. The only other guy who even comes close is Porter Moser.

Let's just hope that Peterson leaves us with a program that isn't beyond being revived when he finally leaves town!

Mike Hamrick was a great guy and deserves the success. It's pretty sad that you can be the second most successful (i.e. Moser) with a record of 73-106. We are definitely a wasteland for basketball coaches.
