RE: This Weeks's attendance
USA had 17,721 for WKU. That count I agree with. But this crowd wasn't as big as our first game, which was only reported at 15K and some change. But word is ticket scanners broke on the student side and students were just waved in. I'm still bitter about that. LOL

ASU had 26K announced despite playing on a Thursday, with bad weather in the area, and all of the local junior high football teams playing at the same time.

it was filled like that on the visitor side as well as the grassy area. That is 28,800 fans. Our seating capacity is 31,000 without the grassy area. We have had 36,000 fit into that stadium.

You have to count the visitor side and the grassy area that was just the home side. I am sure it is out there but that was the only picture I could find

Tig, we had at least that many and I stand by my estimation of 22,000+ at the SUU game.

Again, the Cajuns always scan tickets to get actual attendence. Why even start these threads as all of the clowns on this board diss anything the Cajuns do? I hope we can get away from all of these haters soon. Some conferences actually support other members when playying OOC games. Not these jerks!

Are you looking for an argument. Are you really telling me even with the visitor side and the grassy area filled like the home side, that's not 28,800 fans? Really!

UL doesn't make up attendance numbers, are you sure the Ladd dump even holds 22,000?

No one here is disputing your attendance numbers.

Jags fans are venting because our stadium admissions crew apparently can't count.

this. not everything is an attack on you, insecure cajun fans.

we are simply saying if what you guys are saying is true, then our count of 15k is severely erroneous (which a lot of us already suspect is the case)

RE: This Weeks's attendance
NMSU had its lowest Attendance (18,366) for a rival (UTEP) yesterday. Generally sits between 25-30,000 for rival games, with more showing up for UTEP. We will be lucky to get over 10,000 for the rest of the season at Home.

I don't know why Louisiana fans are taking exception to USA fans posting about our own numbers. Our numbers have nothing to do with your school.

If I said "We had 28,800 fans at our 1st home game" and someone behind me said " If that is 28,800 fans then we had 20,000 fans." That we would not take it as if we weren't reporting our numbers accurately and an insult to our attendance?

If I said I had a smart child and someone behind me said that if that is a smart child then my child is a genius that you would not take it as an insult?

Probably because you quoted my post. He was agreeing with me that we had more people at our first game than was reported. It has nothing to do with Louisiana. He was using your count (which we aren't disputing) as further evidence that our count was incorrect on our first game. Seasoned Jag fans all agree there were at least 20k there at our first game. I was thinking about 21-22k. It's just a misunderstanding of his context, but he was posting about our numbers using your numbers as supporting evidence for what we already know.

Every Cajun fan took it the same way! When you have USA fans leaving little sarcastic post like "fake punts" is there any wonder why his post would be considered questionable?

except its the opposite.

if your child took a mensa test and scored genius, then my child is at least average, despite the hanging chads on his SAT.
