Jerry Kill taken off field again
Hopefully he is ok and finds a way to keep his health in check, Which probably means a new vocation.

Why? Is it "ridiculous" that the man has a medical condition?

it's ridiculous that he's allowed to coach with this condition. imagine how he'd be if he were coaching at a school where there are actually expectations to win! he'd never make it.

I wish the guy the best. Not sure if the stress of coaching at this level aggravates his seizures or not. He has a loyal staff of assistants that have been with him at SIU, NIU and now Minnesota. As a staff they have been able to coach through his health issues. You would hope that the money he has collected in his three years at Minnesota is enough to let him consider retirement.

The stress of being a head coach might not help. But then, I've seen ill people get worse when they have nothing to do, also. Tough call to make, really.

I am saying the stress of his job is contributing to his condition (maybe not totally but at least some) because of what I heard today. he has had five of these seizures on game days. if that's true, I would think he would/should be persuaded to step down. I would think it would a scary situation for him to endure.

Yeah. Uh, don't ever go say something like that in a public forum or in corporate America. You just can't do that. Sorry sir, you have epilepsy, we won't allow you to do this job anymore. It doesn't work that way.

It's not his first time, and 110000+ people at the Big House don't need to see somebody die on the sidelines. It's time he put his health before his career.

the facts are not at all correct in this thread. Jerry Kill was not even in the state of Michigan. He was NOT taken off the field in Ann Arbor. He was at home and had not even traveled to the game, so the thread title is very mis-leading. Certainly you can debate the issue of his coaching, but, let's at least get the facts correct.

No, the thread title is absolutely correct because the original thread goes back to the Minnesota-Western Illinois game.

I did not say the title was incorrect. I said it was mis-leading with regard to the events of yesterday, which is true.

Being facts, looks like they are correct. What was not correct?

OK, but the thread wasn't created about the events of yesterday ... or even yesterday. Geez.

It might not be the game. Does he have seizures at other times and we just don't know about it?
