Good game. Big shot by Shane but, what probably won that game for you guys was a Freshman dribbling the ball off of his foot while we had a 1 point lead. But, honestly I would play him more he really makes this offense move and Mouzy didn't stand a chance staying with Bryant.

Stevie couldn't stay with him either. And Mouzy is the difference in the ball game, along with Edwards. He hit three big 3's and two driving layups, and if you noticed, ASU was playing a zone on everyone else, but had a man follow III all over the court. It made it impossible for that man to help double up Edwards and others. III also made some key passes, one of which Courtney Jackson wasn't ready for or he would have had a gimme.

Talked to Coach Brady after the game and III's dad was there with us at the bus, and Brady told us that III should be playing for ASU. We told him he was at least a year too late. By the way, Brady was very cordial. And I was surprised at how tall he was. I always pictured him around 5'10" tall in TV, but he has to be 6'1" or 6'2".
He was very cordial. We wished him good luck, and I can tell you ASU will be tough in the future.04-rock

I know there is another thread covering this, but I can't stress it enough. BIG MIKE made it possible for us to win by taking care of business at the free throw line when we really needed him. Two shots, NBN.

That's why they call it a "team" game. Everyone contributes properly and you win games. It took everyone making every play they did to win. Big Mike did step up in crunch time, as did several players. But as long as we're winning, I'd love to win some by twenty or thirty points. This last second stuff has to be wearing on everyone. If you keep getting too close to the edge of the cliff, you're going to eventually fall off.04-rock
