I had never heard of him, but I thought you were referring to former Post Herald beat writer Roger Shuler who uses his Legal Schnauzer blog to bash all things UAB

It doesn't. I included the bio to remind Memphis Blazer about Roger Schultz. I used to listen to a local radio show on Sunday afternoons, which discussed college football. Schultz would do radio for the Troy games at that time. He never hesitated to be critical of the UAB football program on Sunday afternoons on the radio.

You must have not heard him bash UAB on the radio with comments like

"I guarantee you there is not one person outside the city limits of Birmingham that gives a damn about UAB."
"Yea I see what they announce for their attendance and that's a bunch of crap. There isn't 2,000 people in that place".
"UAB needs Troy because the only time they have any fans in there is when Troy plays at Legion Field".
"I'm in the booth, I know. Troy always brings more fans than UAB when it's a UAB home game."

(He used to be color commentator for Troy)

Stuff like that off the top of my bald head. He also goes into Bama tirades on why they have nothing to gain and everything to lose in playing UAB and follows it with more insults.
