RE: MAC Presser with PJ
I think his point was that in the grand scheme of his life, one loss in a football game doesn't ruin him. He has been through more and gotten through more than 1 (embarrassingly bad) loss. He's alive and healthy, therefore elite (according to his mantra)

Which is the point really. Why bother?

So yes, looks like he cares.

Who got banned, and what/how many tweets did they send? If it was a constant barage of tweets I would ban them simply because I would get sick of the notifications

What I found interesting but not surprising is that he said we won't be defined by that loss. Easy to say but he has no control over that.

I can guarantee that the loss will be brought up time and time again by others around the league and the nation. Even in recruiting. At least until they do something to overshadow it. Something really good and unexpected.

Reading some of you, it sounds as if you believe that PJ is the first coach ever to have a young, relatively inexperienced team. 04-chairshot

He will pay the price for that loss on the recruiting trail

At Iowa. We NEED it now. Maybe fans will give the team another shot hosting KSU.

Do I owe someone money on my "we'll win our home games" call?

Easy to jump on PJ right now and while I do not support his antics I do not question his football knowledge. This is a guy who made it as an undrafted free agent receiver in the NFL. Not so easy to do and while his career was short he was well liked and respected by his NFL coaches. Point being he knows when a pick is a QB's responsibility and when it is a receiver's.

Given time, I think that PJ will be a successful HC at WMU. I hope you guys upset Northwestern! Not likely but it would make me happy if it happened.

Hopefully, the NW team is reading this board and sees an easy W. Sleep walks through the game. That's our best shot, as I see it. They are the best team left on our schedule. NIU would be #2.

Sign up for watchespn and explain the decisions he made. Knowing football and having to be the man that makes the decisions are two different things. 500 GRAND to learn on the job it good work if u can get it. Oh and have access to YouTube.

Do any of you really think he gives a chit about a bunch of whiners on a forum, or a loss in a football game, or if we like him using the word elite. This is a mentally tough individual who will succeed.

Nice Post I agree, give the guy a break!

He didn't let receivers behind us and he didn't throw the interceptions!

First home game, he is a new coach full of ideas!

Actually his dc left guys in man coverage with no pass rush play after play then played a coverage they obviously didn't understand. I am tired of people including pj blame the players.

Looked like two were in cover 2 and the corners were full zone. Then they were expecting over the top help and it was biting on a stray squirrel or something shiney.
