Who's rowing into Evanston?
Several friends and I taking advantage of the cheap tickets on StubHub (as low as $0.98) anyone else going to the game Saturday?

I know it's not likely to end well, but Go Broncos!

I talked to my wife about going. We like Evanston and Chicago in general, and enjoyed it when we were there for basketball. We've been out of town for the last three weekends for various family functions. She just wants to stay home. 01-lauramac2

Yeah, if we went it wouldn't be about the game. Just a nice easy get away.

RE: Who's rowing into Evanston?
I'll be there with a buddy of mine. Tickets and plans have been made. Downtown Friday night and during the day Saturday, game Saturday night, home Sunday.

I'm glad this isn't an Illinois or Purdue where the game is the only thing in town. It'll be a 'Chicago weekend' so even if we get killed on the football field, it's only a fraction of the time spent there.

Besides, going in with ultra-low expectations is kind of a luxury. It's not like getting jazzed up for a competitive game and then get deflated when we're down 31-7 at halftime.
