Communiversity Game 2012
Just checked to see if I remembered correctly. Faced a much better team (EIU) than we faced last night. Yes, we put up 42 points BY THE HALF! Say what you want, but last night's loss was alarming. KB and Dunn better feel worse than I do this morning. Never been more embarrassed by a Bronco performance. Stadium looked great, fireworks were great, tent action was great, even the DJ was exciting. The only thing that sucked was the product on the field. And, in the end, that's the thing everyone will remember!

100% accurate. Loved everything about the periphery (tailgate, DJ, atmosphere, student section, band, fireworks, weather!) but the product failed to produce.

I completely agree. The fans came out in droves, the students were fired up, fireworks were cool, band sounded good, etc...

Everyone was having a good time...then the game started. Such a wasted opportunity. It will be a long time until we get a turnout like that again. This was our one chance to show the community a new era of Bronco football and we fell on our faces right out of the gate. I'm just...disappointed...

In a decade or so you'll realize that pattern is part of our charm too..............then you'll be a real Bronco. 04-cheers

Spot-on observation. Everything except the football game pretty much kicked-ass last night. Waldo looked better than I've seen it in my 10 years coming to WMU games. Same goes for the student section - in attendance, involvement, and not-leaving-at-halftime-ness. Place was ripe for showering the team with some serious noise and love.

And then we laid a complete egg on that new Ghost Bronco.

Gah.

Makes me wonder why sometimes but I'm not even giving up with this guy at the helm. At least I can focus on hockey.

Not ponying up any cash until they fix things around there but that's a different discussion.

Tragic night.

You could NOT ask for a more perfect evening, besides the product on the field. Perfect weather, amazing student and community support, etc. brutal.

Lots of them aren't ours. They came over to read about our reaction to the shipwreck and the aftermath. Some came to rub a little salt into the wound, as if that would actually make things feel worse. Imagine that.

Onwards and upwards - which is the only direction you can go from where we've been.
