I don't feel any worse about the year except for the short week. Don't like it.

Me either. Troy should be fresher from their competition but they have to travel to play us so that helps us a little. Depends on how healthy we can get by Thursday.

Yes and no. No doubt Aplin would have made a difference but Kennedy looks like the real deal, and this team is ahead of last year.

Expected the game to be a lot closer going into the 4th quarter, and should have been, but ASU simply did not take advantage of their opportunities.

Think Auburn is a lot better than people think, but ASU was not over matched at all. Auburn coaches also had an advantage over other coaching staffs ASU will face this year.

Think the defense was a little tight at the start, and the secondary played a little tentative throughout the game, but that was to be expected playing a Malzahn offense, and real SEC speed.

Really a good football game and both teams showed a lot of upsides.

Realistically, the defense was fine for the first 3 quarters. We had two bad drives to start the game, and Hayes cam up lame on that one long TD pass. We could have easily been ahead after 3 quarters had our offense played worth a darn in the red zone.

The 4th quarter was awful...no doubt about that.

If you guys remember I said back in the summer that ASU would be 6-6 at best. Trust me, I wasn't even counting a loss to Troy. My basis for the prediction is that a school like ASU cannot be successful 3 years in a row with 3 different coaches. (unless that 3rd one had been Petrino). Its just like Vegas, u cannot defy the odds. Nothing personal at all towards ASU ending the season 6-6. I just think that is absolutely the best record they can end up with under the circumstances. Harsin is okay, he is a good guy, but he didn't build Boise State or anybody else.

Kennedy was 29 of 41 for 272 yards, no picks, and averaged 6.2 yards per carry on a night when the offensive line was getting manhandled.

Seminole Indian is not "you guys". Try to get it through your head that Seminole Indian roots for the East Moron Trolls Community College. He has nothing to do with the stAte fan base.

Dang I get tired of people attaching him to us.

the problem is he isn't calling himself the shawnee hilltopper. HE associates himself with YOU no matter how much you like it or try to explain otherwise.

he makes outrageous statements about x-men and athletes the like of which the sunbelt has never seen.

we had an idiot on hilltopper haven named carolina topper that predicts us to go undefeated in hoops every year. fortunately for us his 2 tin cans and a string isp in hillbilly north cackalacky doesn't appear to reach other message boards.

And you're still going to be wrong. Speaking of Vegas Odds, stAte opens up as 10 point favorite Thursday over Troy . . .

Actually Bill Bergy, who was a linebacker at ASU gave me the nickname. He did not mean too, just use the name ( I had on a Osceola tea shirt) when he was commenting about how good I was on a trampoline one day and that is what everyone started calling me after that.

Why? I was good.

Bergy did surprise me, I did a standing back flip on the football field one day and he did the same thing (although I was not there to see him). I had a best time of 10 flat in the 100 yard dash(wind aided) , and so did he.

He weighed 230, I weighed maybe 165. He was also a very football player

can you also re-tell how you're independently wealthy and retired in your 30's so you can spend your free time educating us ignorant masses with your football knowledge?

i'm sure the board newbs would appreciate the background.
