Evansville 4th in the MVC makes me laugh. They could very well be in a battle for 6th/7th this year.

I agree they could easily be in a 6th/7th fight. But at the same time, other than WSU, I think any team in the Valley is an injury or two from being in a such a fight. Indiana State and UNI both seem ahead of the rest of the non-WSU pack, but they aren't so far ahead that it is clear cut, and I don't think there is any clear indication who might line up behind those top 3. I can see SIU and Drake at the bottom and, in my opinion, Illinois State could be a trainwreck in waiting with some really combustible juco and inexperienced players as well. That takes care of 6, the other 4 will duke it out in the middle but it's the Valley, who the hell knows how it will play out in real time.

The thing with Evansville is that they play tough every game. I think putting them that high is a knock on everyone else.
