Depth chart and PT
I'm interested in seeing how Mikhail Dubose turns out. Highly sought talent who redshirted first year.

Noted in the MLive article he didnt make the two deep at DE but noted he had an asst at MSU and a pic printed in MLive of him playing.
Had same "stats" as DT starter Corey Sueing.

Question for those closer to the program.

Depth charts are fluid and with talent levels being close being on or off the 2 deep is misleading.

Is Dubose a player who may get more time as the season rolls or like too many the hype is always greater than the reality?

I note too that Jarrell McKinney (?) is listed on the official site as a LB but I thought I read in the MLive article he was in the mix at DE with Donaldson and the like?

Mckinney was moved to DE and has since become the starter, and both Dubose and Donaldson will be getting playing time. They played quite a bit at MSU and looked good. I think the talent level is so similar at these positions that there will be a good mix of players getting time.

Heck, I had an asst once and dont believe was ever considered a stud.

But I hope for him that it is a beginning of letting it "all out".

Good defenses put points directly on the board. Would like to see us average at least 3 pts per game. For those who are math challenged that would be one TD every other game.

I include punt and kick off coverage as defense too.

Putting a hat on the ball and holding up as stripping count regardless.
