I guess Vegas doesn't see them as a powerhouse this year. NH is not a bad fcs team but picked in middle of their conference which is a great fcs conference.

If you're ever 3 point favorites at home to an FCS team (albeit a decent FCS team), then you're doing something wrong.

Yet half of the chimps think they're going to win the MAC this year.

NH can score points in bunches. Mobile qb spread team. They might just out score the chimps. Would suck for the mac but it would make my day. We are 28 point favorites. Akron is a 3 point favorite against James Madison and I don't think they win that one. Could be a rough day for mac teams.

Would be bad for the mac if the preseason number three team in the caa beats one of us at home.

In my picks this week, I have JMU over Akron and NH over CMU for my upset pick. Chimps better bring their A-game or they could get a big surprise.

I agree that It's not good for the MAC, but it's a reality we have to recognize.

I saw the chimps in person last week. To put it nicely, they looked lost... and it wasn't just because they were playing a much better team.

I have seen multiple publications pick NH over CMU this week.

I picked NH over CMu. Never figured that they would lose their top RB and their QB in one game, the first one at that. Even with them, I thought they'd be hard pressed to pass EMU by in the standings. Now, well.........everybody will get to see how deep they are and how great a coach they have.

Should the 'upset' happen, I wonder if their board turns from 'we could be champions' to 'Fire Enos?' Or will the delusion continue?

Maybe they'll just wait until hockey season............oh, wait.

If this is a surprise it isn't to some at UNH and at other schools...6 FBS wins in the last 10 years.(Rutgers, Northwestern, etc.)...I think we lost to CMU by a few 5-6 years ago...not happy about the impact on the MAC but happy due to being a long time Bronco fan and Kazoo native!
