We also didn't start the healthy QB.

A&T had 244 yards total. The backup QB had nearly that much in one half. Start Kam, period.

You were the one saying just go up by two or three touchdowns.
Seemed obvious that that wasn't an option.

Of course it was an option. App started a QB that isn't 100% that went on to throw a pick 6, critical fumble and another pick in 6 possessions.

Yes I would start the healthy QB and dominate teams we should dominate that should be rather obvious to our staff.

When you put it like that I see your point.
However, they do claim that both are completely healthy.
We know he is off though, and hopefully they realize it now.

His knee is healthy, but clearly not the confidence mentally he had last year. In our offense and with our oline the QB has to be able to throw on the run and pick up yardage on run plays as well. Jackson through two games has not done so. I hope Kam starts next week.

Final sentence, couldn't agree with you more.

Coach Moore is a gentleman and first class guy in many regards but behind the public persona he also has a good bit of an ego that needs feeding. For all the great things Jerry Moore does and stands for he is not immune to some of the issues that befall those who accumulate positions of power and influence. My intention is not to drag him through the mud, but there were are a lot of things that went on behind closed doors that were never told. ASU caught a lot of flak from what happened with Coach Moore. While the university kept it classy Jerry continued work the poor, poor pitiful me act in the media. Make no mistake about it, Jerry Moore knew 2012 was his final year as ASU's coach. The emails supporting that fact were released and I know several people personally who said he told them so prior to the season. I suspect the university finally got tired of his whining to the media and let him know if it didn't stop they would be forced to reveal some very unflattering things about Chris (his son).

ASU knew they were going FBS and Coach Moore made no secret he wanted no part of it. Jerry Moore was given the opportunity to go out as a legend. The university offered him a multi-year deal at $150K annually to be a goodwill ambassador for the university. Go be a fund raiser, play golf with influential alumni and generally enjoy his stardom. He turned it down for one last year to coach. Jerry planned to buck the deal and leverage winning another championship and a trip to the playoffs against the university sticking to the deal. Coach Moore had been in serious trouble of losing his job before - little of it having anything to do with W's & L's - and he called in several high ranking donors to save his hide. It didn't work this time.

Since you know alot more about the inner workings then me, I was curious are we keeping Jackson as starter, I liked Jackson I've watched him play really well, but this doesn't seem to be the same Jackson and when the runner up in Bryant is proving himself strongly and the fact Bryant will be able to lead the team come FBS play wouldn't it be smarter to make him starter?

From what I'm hearing the starting job is still Jackson's and he has been getting most of the snaps with the first team in practice this week. However, Bryant is getting a healthy share of the reps with the first unit. Jamal just isn't where he needs to be mentally or physically. After talking to some folks I'm not buying all the talk he is 100% physically. I wonder how long Scott will stick with him.

Another nugget is Price has been moved off the scout team and was working with the 1's this week. I am afraid if Scott brings Price back next week it will look like a desperation move. IMO, he needs to wait until we win a game before reinstating him.

Then hopefully they are letting the qb's compete at starting role and we can get the program on track again

I agree.

After talking to some people in Boone last weekend I not convinced his knee is 100%.
