Rough First Week
The conference had a pretty rough week from a results standpoint. Seven schools lost their opener. Some of the losses were expected (Wofford, Elon), but a few others were somewhat surprising. What was the most surprising or disappointing loss by a conference team this week? The scores of the Wofford and Elon games were pretty ugly, but they were playing FBS schools. For my money the Furman loss to Gardner-Webb was the most disappointing.
