I think we will probably get crushed but the last time we won there it was coming off a very disappointing loss to Kansas, another game UAB should have won.

By all means, collect the million dollar paycheck.

But anybody who honestly believes that UAB will win this game(and I mean you are so confident that you would be on UAB straight up) needs to lay off whatever drugs he is taking. You guys can be as positive and upbeat as you want about it, but the fact is it's the same old **** with UAB. And this LSU is nothing like the one we beat years ago, not to mention the disparity in talent between those UAB teams.

I just wish they had the same coach that made boneheaded decisions against us last time...what was his name?

Micky something, I think.

I think I heard he got a job at the rural campus of some big state university system.

If it goes the way I figure, meet us at Hooter in middle of the 3rd.

Well, as for me and mine, I'm not driving six hours and spending hard-earned money on tickets, hotel, gas, and meals, only to leave the game early. I never leave a game regardless of the score until the clock reads 00:00 and don't plan on starting now. 04-rock

This game has the potential to have the worst risk-management of all time. Seriously. Les Miles and Garrick McGee on opposite sidelines, calling fake punts, onside kicks, going for it on 4th down. I hope it's an absolute buffet of risk plays.

Speaking of buffets and Les Miles, I wonder what flavor of grass he had planted this year?

There are a lot of advanced metrics that statistically show you show go for it on 4th down a majority of the time. I understand it's not the normal thing to do, but sports do evolve over time.

Despite what the local media might tell you, the big XII has some very good defensive teams.

I like how you hand pick certain games that prove your point.

What about
Miss State 2010 29-24
Miss State 2006 16-10
Miss Stare 2004 27-13 w
Tennessee 2010 32-29 2OT
South Carolina 2008 26-13
LSU 2000 13-10

We were close in all of these games. I don't like the manipulation of the facts. We have been close in a fair share of sec opponents.

There was no manipulation there. A guy told him we always bring it for SEC games, and he proved that statement wrong. He didn't say we never play SEC games close.

Thank you for pointing out exactly what I did.

He said we ALWAYS bring it for SEC games. I'm saying that's not the case.
I think I've proved my point.

Counterpoint... no subject for the pronoun "it" has been defined.

"it" could refer to the mascot.
