I honestly think this is a mistake
I mean y would u hire a coach that only recently flipped off your crowd and yelled "F#ck u"

Not only that, but it is my understanding Gonzales is insisting he be allowed to hire Julius Allen. Allen was an assistant coach at USF, and was recently forced to resign. The only guy Allen got on campus, David Sills, was kicked off the team before the season even started. Allen has bad news written all over him.

Gonzalez was hired on the base that he could get kids from the NYC area to play for the Hall. Gonzalez is a pretty good coach; however, it is almost a dead man's job being that the Hall lacks support and is not able to offer the same opportunties to recruits as other schools. It will be interesting to see how the Hall handles Gonzales' sometimes questionable recruiting tactics while he was at MC and the type of guys that he got into MC. Also it will be interesting to see if they can get more than 4,000 people out to their games at Continental Airlines Arena. Some Seton Hall alum are pushing to move more games on campus by having a 6,000 seat on campus arena.
