From the Central Michigan Scout.com site: Eric Fisher has retired from the Kansas City Chiefs to pursue a career in professional gambling. I guess his heart wasn't in it, and that's okay. It's his decision.

I have to say it was an excellent ruse. After talking with Adam Teicher of the Kansas City Star, there is no truth to the story that Eric Fisher has retired from the Kansas City Chiefs. He has been practicing and is very happy with his contract with the Chiefs. So, those that were looking forward to him playing, baring injury, he should be good to go.

It's OK. Nobody but you took it seriously.

Maybe you should have your filters cleaned.

The original information came from the Scout.com Chippawa Insider site. So, I thought it was legit. Of course I should have known you are so wise that you saw through it all, without even mentioning it.
