Texas State Question--
Does Texas State serve beer in their stadium? If they do, do they sell it everywhere, or just in certain areas?

RE: Texas State Question--
We serve beer in the suites only.

EDIT: Possibly in the reserved seating, though I don't think so (I believe that is why I elected to get away from the reserved seating. No sense in paying extra for the chairback if I can't drink alcoholo.

Club seats have access to alcohol in the club level.

RE: Texas State Question--
So the Cajun fans can get beer pretty much anywhere in or around the stadium. Club? is that a private area for huge donors, or just the nicer seats?

RE: Texas State Question--
Cargo shorts are lame, but they will hold a 6 pack.

EDIT: The Association of Student Government has pushed hard the past few years for the selling of alcohol at football games but nothing has come of it yet. I never thought they accomplished much as an organization but then again I just read a story about how in the early 2000's they were the main force behind he name change from SWT to TXST...so who knows.

They weren't the main driving force, but they definitely played a hand.

They were, however, almost solely responsible for the move to FBS.

But I don't think they can swing the booze in the stadium gen pop area. It was just about an act of congress to get tailgating and when they started, it was pretty much on lockdown the whole time.

Club level is suites and every seat requires a $1500 or $2000 donation in addition to the cost of the seat.

The rest of the stadium does not sell alcohol. That's why if you look after the game you find a ton of disposable flasks lol.

RE: Texas State Question--
Thanks for the info. My son is heading up there this fall and I was going to try and attend the Wyoming game in late Sept. I might see if I can figure out a way to land some club level seats somewhere, but I'll probably end up in the "dry" portion of the stadium.

I hope your son enjoys his time in Bobcat Country.

Invest in a flask, or as someone else mentioned... cargo shorts.
