If you don't buy the lines, make some money on them.

If I get back to Vegas this fall, I will def be putting some down on those numbers.

I just can't believe that USA will lose at home to Southern Utah, who lost their all-world quarterback last season.

Georgia State +21.5 vs. Samford (holy @#$$@#$)

UL Lafayette +11 @ Arkansas (go Cajuns)

UL Monroe +23 @ Oklahoma (not gonna happen)

South Al +3 vs. Southern Utah (WTF - home dog?)

Texas State +8 @ Southern Miss (would be a nice win for Sun Belt)

Troy -5 vs. UAB (show 'em who's boss)

WKU +5.5 neutral Kentucky (I can't root for Petrino or CUSA)

BBN is betting the trailers on this one. Only way to explain the line moving up. They don't have the SEC bias this season. Ole Bob [sic] Stoops is gonna lead them to the promised land of SEC mediocrity. And BBN is betting accordingly. Look for WKU to cover by 14 pts.

If Monken can coach at all, USM should be bowling this season.

I guess we will have to hear how FCS teams are better than Sun Belt unless GaSt can pull off a miracle.

So according to the line it would be about as big an upset for Georgia St. to beat an FCS team as ULM to beat OU. Crazy.

At least they are making CTM's pregame speech writing easy...

You can add Jacksonville State to that list too. GA State could go 0-3 against all 3 of them.

There won't be enough PBR in the world to wash down all that crow folks will be eating this season.

Samford is a tough, tough team, I will be very interested to see how GSU plays them, if GSU can win, even though Samford is FCS it would be a big win for GSU.

If GSU beats Samford...watch out. Samford is good enough to sneak up on a few Belt schools. Though, I am still on record that by the end of the year Georgia State will be giving a few SBC teams tough games. I just think its going to take them time to gel under Miles.

May be too soon for Miles this year, but at least would expect to see some improvement.
Not going to take long for GSU to get at least fairly good. Probably years before they can
beat the other GSU though.

I wouldn't say years. We will catch the SBC fairly quickly so Southern will not take years. I know you guys think GS and App are better than the SBC.

Not better than the SBC, but definitely better than you guys.

They aren't infallible. None of them had Southern Miss collapse or A&M over Bama. They discount how bad our coaching staff was last season. Hell our OC is more accomplished than 90% of the SBC head coaches.

panama I hope it does not take Georgia State years to get up to speed. I feel what is being said is that from Georgia States past history and what they showed last year if there is not vast improvement it could be a long football season for the panthers. 3 of the panthers first 4 games are against FCS teams who Georgia Southern and AppSt fans are very familar with. None of these 3 FCS teams could care less that the panthers are now FBS. They will not roll over and play dead for anyone.

Ga st was so bad last year there is only so much miles can do. Miles wants to get a lot of playing time for the new guys to prepare for 2014. 2013 is just a wasted year.

With what Jeff Monken did at Georgia Southern to turn them around, I wont be surprised if TM does a huge turn around at Gast. I believe if TM is half as good as panthers fans think he is, then they can win 3 games this season.

Panama, Georgia State football has not been very good which is different than wanting to forget the first several years of Georgia State football. The core group of players for Georgia State are the same players from last years team. It remains to be seen how that group of players buys into the new coaching staff. Should they be better this year? Yes, but we will not know that until they line up against Samford. I hope Georgia State new coaching staff rights the ship and is able to get the players to buy into a new football attitude for Georgia State football. Best of luck in this upcoming season.
