I also imagine Coors would jump on the chance to be the premier seller at JMU games considering how close by one of their distribution centers are.

Not distribution...it's a brewery for MillerCoors.

No, I wouldn't give a particular JMU announcer unlimited drinks. He's bad enough as it is....

RE: Alcohol sales at games?
There is a better article I haven't found yet, but West Virginia claims that selling beer has reduced drinking problems at their games because the fans know they can drink a beer during the game so they don't binge drink and become overly-intoxicated before the game because they couldn't get one at the game. So instead of chugging several beers right before the game starts, they no longer. Anyway, that's what they claim. Here is another article.
Quote:
"I think it worked," said WVU Police Chief Bob Roberts, who supported Luck's multipronged plan to reduce binge drinking and bad behavior by selling beer at Mountaineer Field for the first time and ending a long-standing practice of letting fans leave during the game.
The so-called "pass-out" policy allowed hard-partying fans to drink heavily in the parking lot then return to the stadium, where they often ruined the fun for others. Now, people who leave aren't allowed back in.
"This was probably the best season I've ever worked," Roberts said.

So it adds revenue, cuts down on problems, and has increased fan support. 4 MAC schools now offer beer, Buffalo has plans to add it for their new luxury seats, and others will follow.

A lot of the concession workers seem to be fundraising groups that change weekly. I have no idea about the ABC laws but my guess is something would have to change to allow them to just pop in and serve.

Alcohol sales at games?
Didn't they use to have beer on tap at d-hall back in the pre-21 boozing days?

They certainly had 3.2 beer at the Warren Campus Center. You could drink at age 18 when I went there, but only 3.2 beer until you were 21.

This can easily be handled by having a kiosk type beer despensing/selling areas that are not a part of the other concessions. The people working these could be Jaycees, Kiwanis Clubs, etc. rather than the younger people who work the normal concessions.

JMU already offers alcohol at BFS. Alcohol is served it in the suites. To Arkon's point, I think it would be nice if the administration allowed alcohol to be sold through out the stadium so fans can enjoy sipping a beer and cheering on the Dukes.

I'm sure you meant it, but BFS serves alcohol to those in the club level as well (not just the suites). You get two free drinks with the game ticket and anything above that can be purchased. However, the drinks must be kept either inside or on the patio area. The ushers watch pretty closely to make sure people don't take drinks to their seats.
