RE: Wichita State hires Steve Forbes as Assistant Coach
This is a huge boost and upgrade to the staff. I was a little concerned at first because of the Tennessee thing, but when I found out that his only crime was not providing more info to the NCAA that they didn't ask about I don't feel as bad. Can't blame a guy for not trying to throw his boss under the bus. The fact that Forbes himself wasn't involved with any shady recruiting or anything makes me feel pretty good. Doesn't hurt that he has a nation wide network of connections and is very highly thought of in the coaching community. I have no doubt that he'd be a head coach somewhere right now if it weren't for the Pearl incident.

Marshall, Jans, Heier and Forbes make one hell of a coaching staff. Can't wait to see the recruits these guys land.
