Way too early preseason conference awards
I'm bored and can't wait for basketball season to get here. So here on some thoughts on how I see individual honors possibly shaping up.

First Team All MVC
Cleanthony Early, Wichita
Ron Baker, Wichita
Jake Odum, Indiana State
Seth Tuttle, UNI
Walt Lemon JR, Bradley

POY - Early

Second Team
Fred VanVleet, Wichita
Manny Arop, Indiana State
Jamar Gulley, Missouri State
DJ Balentine, Evansville
Desmar Jackson, SIU

Marcus Marshall could find his way on there as well from MSU.

Newcomers
Darius Carter, Wichita
Kadeem Coleby, Wichita
Wes Washpun, UNI
Milton Doyle, Loyola
Zach Lofton, Illinois State

NOY - Lofton, ISU - I think he'll have more opportunity to put up big numbers compared to the others.

Any of these guys could push their way onto the second team or honerable mention. I'm not doing an HM list though.

Freshmen
Shaquille Morris, Wichita
Jeremy Morgan, UNI
Jordan Swopshire, Bradley
Milton Doyle, Loyola
MiKyle McIntosh, Illinois State

FOY - Doyle, Loyola

Coach of the Year
Gregg Marshall or Geno Ford (Ford if Bradley finishes 3rd or better)
