You think it should be on the deuce or U? The only reason you're getting national broadcast at all is because of Petrino. On the plus side, there's not another game on their family of networks(apart from ESPN3) kicking off within 90 minutes of your game in either direction, it would appear they're protecting that Bama vs VT game.

If you were playing on a Thursday like 2011 or in week 4 like in 2012 or week 2 like in 2010, you probably would be on ESPNU again, but you're playing on Saturday in week 1 and while the Bama vs VT may be decided already, they'll likely be just a few minutes into the third quarter while you guys are kicking off. But of course a completely different set of circumstances won't get in your way of making assumptions and name calling.

A fair point, but where did I ever say we have a better basketball program? I don't think we'll ever have a better basketball program than you and I know the clip we've been beating you at won't last forever, but I don't think you'll ever return to your former glory or the long term decided advantage you once held.

SO. MTSU is only ascending and wil continue to get better, but WKU is stuck in our current lowly state. WKU will return to the final four before this decade is out. MARK IT DOWN.

Under Harper WKU has a chance to ascend back into the upper echelon of basketball. This is going to go back to Johnny O and Eddie A days. So just make yourself comfy on the second violin.

You didn't, but it's the only sports they're remotely relevant at (or used to be), so it's the only thing they can resort to when they having nothing to say. UK fans are just the same way...

Now, back to the original topic. I could see it being a good game, but I believe I'd give a slight edge to UK.

What are you talking about? He took a PERSONAL shot at me, I fired back with a joke about your pathetic basketball program. He tried to rebut it, to which i fired another shot a your crappy team. He replied with a sort of backhand admission of defeat.

As for other sports. Basketball is the only sport that Non AQ teams have a chance to be relevant at. Maybe Baseball but that is a distant third in the national spotlight of sports. If you think that you are relevant in Football you are kidding yourselves. Not even ECU or USM are relevant at this point, not to their fault but that of the system.

As for the topic (which was derailed by an MTSU MOD, I think this is going to get ugly fast. WKU will jump out to an early lead, UK's D will eventually adjust, but our Def will keep them at bay.

I could easily see this game being out to a dominating 28-7 or 38-10 score by the half. Final score somewhere around 45-23. Our style of Def is pretty much built for the Redzone, so i could see several Kitty Kat fieldgoals. WKU wins this one by multiple scores. Then on to becoming Mountain Toppers.

And do you think talking about our "pathetic" basketball program and "crappy" team (that swept you last season, btw) is going to hurt his feelings?
