I agree that sexual preferences do sometimes change. I have two friends that were once married with kids but now have boyfriends. One "came out" as bi and the other as gay.

I just don't think you should be sending kids off to ex-gay camps. Counseling is fine if they are confused about sexuality but they shouldn't be forced or coerced to be one way or the other.
