Looking at those Georgia State numbers makes me respect Panama and company even more... I hope Georgia Southern doesn't have growing pains like that. It'd be hard to not throw in the towel when watching a team put up those numbers... Gotta give it to them, the few fans they do have are true fans.

I really think it will come down to us or ASU but in this conference anything is possible. ULM with a healthy Browning could be in the mix and WKU too. I wouldn't count Troy out as a dark horse. What's going on in Troy? You guys were like the Belts giants killers at one point.

RE: Phil steeles sun belt
Here's why I see this publication and tend to agree. 1. Shows top 4 teams having good offenses. 2. I don't nor does anyone associated with Arkansas st. Expect a drop off and Here's why. Asu is returning the whole O-Line and depth that had a great season running the ball. asu also returns several Rb's, in fact they are so deep at Rb they are moving kids! This will set up a good base attack that will allow a "new" Qb the chance to 1 get comftable and 2 get into a rhythm. By the time this team gets into sbc play the Qb play will be much improved if it needed to in first place.

I have a feeling that Kennedy will be the starter for several reasons 1 of which is he has exp. 2 he is athletic. 3 he has a strong arm. I think Harsin will use Kennedys only year to coach the younger qbs up and or recruit his perfect Qb..this is the guy that coached kellen Moore!

I think Ulm has best chance to win this conference! I say that bc if they're is 1 game we lose I believe ulm has best chance to beat our tough run defense and outpace our tempo attack we will run

We will be back. 2 years doesn't define a program that is use to winning. Last year could have easily been a bowl season. And offensively we will be just as good as last year IMO and a improved defense under a new DC Wayne Bolt.

This guy had Troy as his #1 team last year and we see how that turned out.

I agree with his pick as well, not his computers.

"The Sun Belt has been one of the tougher conferences to predict in the past couple of years. Arkansas St has been the best team in the conference the last two years and my computer thinks statistically that the Red Wolves will be the best again in 2013. It projects that they will out-gain their foes by an average of 114.3 ypg and outscore them by 8.8 ppg. Louisiana, which is my pick to win the Sun Belt this year is closely behind them as my computer projects them to out-gain their foes by 90.0 ypg and outscore them by 8.1 ppg."

We agree on the Cajun's defense. But I don't believe your QB is going to replace Aplin's production or leadership, certainly not with his legs. Don't underestimate his contribution to the ASU running attack. Defenses had to respect him on the zone read, Kennedy presents no such challenge if he is your starter.
