RE: Softball Polls
Keep this up and we have at least two regionals in our conference. Lets not forget about the upgrades just made to Jaguar Field, will make that regional and upcoming Super Regional just that much better.

South is also very young. We started 4 freshmen in the last game and our No 3 pitcher is a freshman.

22 of 27 on the roster are freshmen/sophomores for the Cajuns. Only three of the eight fielders started last year (two are seniors, one is a sophomore), but they played in different positions. Most are playing like young players as their hitting seems to come and go. With Coach Lotief's history of teaching hitting I think we'll get more consistent as the year goes on.

Jordan Wallace had some early back issues and her walks stats are pretty bad right now. It actually cost us probably two of the losses we've had (Texas, USF) and almost cost us the first game against Michigan that we hung on to win. I'm not hugely concerned right now as she started pretty bad last year as well, but say I'm a little concerned.
