On a more serious note, OP made a thread titled "East Carolina Fans" because he was addressing us in making a classy statement. It's not as if he was calling us out on something and we have to get defensive.

Never understood "haters". Stadium........as we do not have "hills" around our stadium for folks like you to watch the game for free.
Also add ODU, App. ST., and UNCC as possible sellouts, too. It is all about the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ to support the programs on a high level.

Never understood some folks, you complain about aac threads and people hating on ecu, yet, you want to dish it out and don't want anyone to reply in the same manner. c'mon now.

I sincerely hope the administration's of both universities are working to keep this series on the schedule every year. By far the school we have the most history with and really the only school in C-USA I ever really got excited about playing. Marshall is a special rivalry as well for a number of reasons and I hope we can keep the Herd on a regular schedule also. Going to miss being in a conference with both for sure.

I'll miss seeing Southern Miss and Marshall both. Good history with both teams.

But don't think for a second that our fans are looking past this season. We want to go out on top and we have high expectations as always. We'll see how it plays out on the field.

That said, this Pirate fan appreciates the beginning of this thread.
