Yeah, that's better. They wouldn't be so bad if they didn't do their team rankings on total quantity. We signed lik 8 low caliber players one year and had a top 30 or whatever class just because we had so many transfers out and had to replace them all at once.

Yeah we signed like 6 guys in 06 or 07 and had the 13th ranked class. A few of those guys were decent bench players, but none of them developed into great (or even good) players.

Their actual top 400 list, or 2,3, 4 point players they award or whatever are pretty decent. Where they kill their rep is not taking the average recruits rank or something rather than just the mass.

Absolutely. But you can't just take the average either.

In my opinion, a class ranking needs to be somewhat subjective, because you need to factor in what the players are ranked, if they fill needs or not, if they fit the style or not, and the quantity of players based on the number of scholarships available.

Hoopscoop definitely uses the worst ranking system out there though.
