USA is putting in our first baseman Jordan Patterson to pitch after starting a guy who hadn't started all year. Central Arkansas leads 1-0 right now. Patterson was formerly a pitcher and originally came to USA as a pitcher, but hasn't pitched too much. But if we make it out of this game we got to have some pitching left for MSU.

Pretty big "If". Jags are playing some pretty bad ball right now.

UCA's pitcher is a true freshman who was unknown before he threw a complete game in the Southland Tourney final. Neither team is throwing their #3 in this game...interesting.

Just woke up from a nap. Went into it with Troy trailing by four. Just woke up and saw they won with an epic ninth. Congrats Trojans.

I have to give credit to UCA. Their freshman pitcher was phenomenal and their defense played great. They got a huge call at first in the 8th that went their way but it doesn't matter. They played a great game and USA played one of the worst games I've seen them play. We swung at almost every first pitch, which often resulted in a pop-up fly. I'm disappointed in the outcome of this game but I'm proud of my Jags for playing good ball this year and making it back to a regional. To go from our worst season ever last year to winning the regular season conference championship with Troy and being in talk of hosting a regional is incredible. Good job Jags!

I am very frustrated because I want to know how ASU missed that pitcher out of Little Rock that UCA got.
